1. Eiffel Tower

Objectively the main attraction of Paris! It is considered the most romantic site, it is visited by people all around the world and it is chosen as a spot for a lot of wedding proposals! There are several spots from where it can be admired and here are the top ones:
1. Trocadero (best unobstructed view if you don’t take the many many tourists into consideration!)
2. Avenue New York (across the river)
3. Champ de Mars (the closest you can get!)
4. Rue Saint-Dominique (Eiffel tower peeking through the buildings for the most Parisian view)
Beware that when walking from Champ de Mars to Trocadero there are a lot of steps involved. If you have a pram with you like us then you'll have to walk all the way around Trocadero to enter it from the back as there is no lift and no ramp. It's a 10 min detour.
2. Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe is a beautiful arch that honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. You can either admire it from street level or go up to the top for a panoramic view of Paris. You can either climb the 284 steps or if you have a baby take the lift! Price: 13 euros for adults and free for under 18s.

3. Champs-Élysées
The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a 1.9 km long avenue in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, It runs between the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde and it is the perfect place for a stroll. You will find it filled with shops, restaurants and cafes as well as souvenir shops and street sellers.
4. Louvre
The Louvre Museum is the world's most-visited museum! It is located inside the Louvre Palace and the entrance is through the iconic pyramid. It is the home of some of the best-known works of art including the Mona Lisa and the Venus of Milos.
5. Le Marais
This is a trendy district that's not as easy to navigate with a pram. The cobbled streets are best explored while your baby is in a baby carrier. This district is worth going to as it is filled with galleries, boutiques and Parisian cafes. Why not grab an outdoor table at one of the cafes and people watch!

6. Palace of Versailles

The Palace of Versailles used to be the home to the Kings of France between 1662 and 1789, You can not only visit the Palace inside but also its gardens which are definitely a highlight. If you visit Paris in the summer make sure to book tickets to the sunset show which includes going to the gardens an hour before sunset, classical music playing, champagne stalls scattered around the gardens and as the sun goes down you watch a fountain show which ends with fireworks! Definitely the best activity I've ever done in Paris.
Something to watch out for:
Public Transport

Unfortunately the metro in Paris does not have lifts or escalators. After several days in Paris with a baby I only came across 1 station that had a lift... If you're there with friends or family then you'll have to carry the pram up and down the many stairs. Alternatively you can take buses everywhere which is what local mums do!
