How to get your baby a British Passport!

To get a passport for a baby in the UK, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Gather required documents:

  • A completed passport application form

  • Two recent passport photos of the child

  • The child's birth certificate or adoption certificate

  • Proof of the child's citizenship, if they were not born in the UK

  • The passport of one of the parents

 

2. Pay the fee:

  • The fee for a child passport is £53.50.

​

3. Submit the application:

  • You can submit the application online, by post, or in person at a Passport Customer Service Centre.

  • If you're submitting the application in person, you'll need to provide original documents.

​

Note: If the child is under 16 years old and their parents have different names, you may need to provide additional documentation to show the child's relationship to both parents.
